Repair Motor Pool Parking Lots

JSR was the Prime Contractor on this Design Build project. Scope of work included removing and replacing more than 55,000 square yards of pavement at motor pools for buildings 19012 and 7086. The existing asphalt paving was removed and replaced with rigid concrete paving. The design was based on a category VII Traffic with 9 inches of concrete (non-reinforced) placed in accordance with airfield runway and other heavy pavement specification. Both the existing base and the sub base were processed and installed as per the design to meet all specified requirements. Including compaction and moisture. The project included 3 phases of work with specialized equipment, 2 shifts, with multiple crews, all coordinated by JSR management.
